The course is designed for plant operators with limited or no prior experience handling this type of machinery.

What You'll Learn

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Understand the functions of the main components, controls, and gauges of a Forward Tipping Dumper
• Read and apply information from the operator’s manual and relevant legislation
• Perform pre-use, running, and shutdown checks following manufacturer guidance and legal requirements
• Prepare the dumper for both road and site travel, operating safely over varied terrains and gradients, loaded and unloaded
• Manoeuvre confidently in forward and reverse, including within confined spaces
• Correctly position the dumper to receive, discharge, load, and unload materials efficiently and safely

Training Delivery and Assessment

Training is delivered through a balanced mix of classroom instruction and hands-on practical exercises. The Dozer Trainer's experienced, accredited trainers ensure each delegate receives clear, practical guidance.

Successful learners receive a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card, valid for two years.
