We specialise in delivering hands-on earthmoving machinery training but in a real world setting. We deliver these daily on a construction site in Ripley, Derbyshire and under the guidance of qualified instructors, who are also time-served operators. Our experience bundles cover off how to work in unison with other machines and machine operators, and have you undertaking additional machine activity and skills that wouldn’t have been covered by traditional NOCN or NPORS training and testing routes.

The Dozer Trainer offers Construction Plant training and assessment accredited to NOCN, NPORS and SQA schemes via its Parent Company, Doctore On Track Training Services Ltd, better known as DOTTS. However, The Dozer Trainer is the only one of its kind machine training provider focusing on hands-on training on a live site in Ripley, Derbyshire, providing our learners with a unique further training experience in a real-world environment setting.
The Dozer Trainer “site-ready” experience courses are aimed at those operators with Red Cards and are designed give them the experience and skill set required to obtain a seat in the industry. However if you are new to the industry or a Red Carder wanting to turn it to Blue (NVQ), we can provide other courses tailored to suit your needs.

Site-Ready Packages
Upon completing your experience, the instructor will endorse you for any activity successfully completed during your experience and you will receive a DOTTS/The Dozer Trainer endorsed certificate that you can take to any prospective employer demonstrating you have invested into continuing your professional development as an operator and can undertake a range of activity in a safe manner.

We strive to provide the best experience and accommodate learners needs, therefore if you have booked a “site-ready” experience on a machine, as far as reasonably possible this experience will be one to one with this machine to guarantee that you get what you pay for.
Both CPCS and NPORS are valid, recognised schemes for plant operator training and certification in the UK – but they suit different needs.
Choose CPCS if:
You’re working on large or major construction sites
Your employer or contractor requires CPCS
You want the most widely recognised card across tier 1 construction firms
You’re aiming for long-term roles on high-profile infrastructure or commercial projects
Choose NPORS if:
You need a more flexible, cost-effective option
You want to train and be assessed on your own site
You’re working in smaller construction firms, utilities, warehousing, or logistics
You still need a card accepted on major sites (choose the NPORS-CSCS card version)
